Who we are
Riyadh Designers is an editorial website that publishes articles about interior and architectural design. This policy describes what information reaches our WordPress site at riyadhdesigners.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect and how it reaches us
We keep data to run the site, respond to messages you send us, and to keep our systems secure. Information comes to us in a few ways:
- Comments you submit. If you leave a comment on a post, WordPress will receive the text you write along with the name, email address, and website URL you choose to provide. The site also records the IP address and browser user agent tied to the comment attempt to help with spam detection and abuse control. Comments may be held for review before they appear.
- Emails you send. If you email any of our published addresses, we receive the contents of your message and the email headers provided by your mail service.
- Server and CDN logs. Our hosting environment and content delivery/cache layer record standard log data for each request, including IP address, request time, URL, referrer (if provided by your browser), and user agent. These logs help operate the site, diagnose issues, and protect against malicious activity.
- Administrator activity. The site has a small number of administrator accounts. WordPress sets session cookies for logged-in administrators and records activity necessary to manage the site. Registration for new public accounts is not open.
What we do not collect
On this site we do not run an online store, accept payments, show advertising, run affiliate tracking, or operate a newsletter. We do not use third-party analytics on riyadhdesigners.com.
Cookies and similar storage
WordPress uses cookies when you leave a comment so your details can be remembered for next time on the same browser. Cookies are also used for administrator sessions. Our cache/CDN may use cookies or local storage to serve pages efficiently. For details about the specific cookies in use, please see our separate Cookie Policy.
Why we use your information
- Publish and moderate comments you choose to submit.
- Respond to emails you send to our published addresses.
- Operate, secure, and improve the site, including detecting abuse and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our site terms.
Who can see your information
Access is limited to the site administrators and our infrastructure providers that host, cache, and deliver the site. Those providers process data such as server and CDN logs to keep the service running. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Comments and their metadata are kept for as long as they remain published or archived on the site. You may request removal of your own comment as described below.
- Emails you send may be kept for our records while we handle your request and as required for record-keeping.
- Server and CDN logs are kept by our hosting and caching layers for operations and security. Retention periods vary by system; we do not control all schedules but do not keep logs longer than needed for these purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to leave a comment or to use a nickname instead of your full name. You can also disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. We will respond to all valid requests within the time required by law.
Children’s information
Our articles are aimed at a general audience interested in design. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.
International transfers
Because the site uses hosting and caching, your information may be processed in the country where those systems are located. We take steps to limit access to what is necessary to operate the site.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and adjust the “last updated” date. Substantive changes may also be noted on the site.

For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. You can also reach the team at [email protected] or use the Contact page on the site.
If you have concerns about how your personal information is handled, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
